We provide a Phlebotomy service here at EMT and offer a calm, caring environment for those of you who are nervous about having a blood test and or have a needle phobia. We have over 20 years experience in Phlebotomy and aim for all our Clients to have a pleasant experience as much as is possible.
All we ask of you is that you check the instructions from the form provider to see if you need to fast (avoid eating or drinking anything except water) before attending your appointment.
Many people are now purchasing private testing kits online or from external companies. These kits are sent out to your home address. A qualified Phlebotomist is then required to draw blood.
We can offer this service and the results are followed up by the Sample kit provider.
Please note that we are not involved with the testing, diagnostics and screening of the samples.
If you have a GP or a Hospital blood test request form, we are able to take a blood sample here at our Clinic at a time convenient to you.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you drink plenty of water so that you are well hydrated when you visit us. This will help us with the blood withdrawal
Remember that tea and coffee can often make us dehydrated if we do not have adequate water intake.
